Homo Avian Graduate Collection 2026
This graduate collection investigates the imagined synthesis of humans and birds, translating skeletal structures, movement, and adaptation into dramatic silhouettes. Combining laser cutting, 3D printing, hand dyeing, and traditional garment construction, Leo Hill-Daniel developed a series of sculptural looks inspired by pigeon plumage, balancing structured forms with organic drapery. The collection reflects an ongoing fascination with biology, engineering, and the emotional power of transformation through dress.

Look 1
Consists of a hand dyed T shirt dress which has had spine graphics screen printed. Draped panels hand from the side seams and connect to the Vertebrae Jeans, creating wing like structures which suspend the outer arms of the Vertebrae Jeans.
